Altough cardboard box are common in our daily life, most people do not know much about it. If your business need to use cardboard box for product packaging or use cardboard box as mailbox what kind of cardboard you need to choose? There're lots of options, in this article we will discuss how to choose the right cardboard box for business.


Difference between carton and box
There's no much difference between the two words since both describe the same thing. Box is probably the most customer and cardboard packaging and related industries in general use of used boxes. What term you use doesn't matter, let the manufacturer know which one you refering.


What is Corrugated?

Corrugated cardboard consists of two elements: flute and liner. The medium is fluted corrugated cardboard sheet sandwiched between two flat sheets. Both are made from paperboard, a paper-like material is often offers the necessary rigidity.




Different walls of corrugated cardboard have different function
There're 3 types of corrugated cardboard wall, single wall, double wall and triple wall.
Single Wall Corrugated Cardboard consists of one fluted medium between two sheets of linerboard. Double Wall  and triple wall as their names imply, has two or more fluted mediums sandwiched between sheets of linerboard. Single wall cardboard box is the most common box we used, double wall and triple wall cardboard box mainly used for heavy load, they are more stronger and dural but they are more expensive cardboard boxes.

FEFCO is the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers. The partnership is an association founded in 1952 and represents the interests of all European manufacturers of corrugated cardboard. Based in Brussels, the Federation is an international association under Belgian law. The code of FEFCO and ESBO (European Organisation advice solids) as a formal system to develop a long and complicated verbal descriptions of cases, replacement, understood the map of the construction and use of simple symbols internationally by all, regardless of other of the language and differences. FEFCO-ESBO code is adopted by the CICA, the International Association for the case of corrugated cardboard, with its partners around the world.
